News | Yuanchen New Materials' "High-Performance Ce-Fe-B Permanent Magnet" Selected for the 2025 "China Good Technology" Project Library (Category A) Public Notice List

2026-09-29

Good news is here!

On September 28, the China Productivity Promotion Center Association (CPPCA) released the Public Notice on the List of Projects Selected into the 2025 "China Good Technology" Project Library. The "High-Performance Ce-Fe-B Permanent Magnet" project submitted by Ningbo Yuanchen New Materials Co., Ltd. has been selected into the Category A public notice list for 2025.

The news was greeted with excitement across our R&D team. This recognition belongs to every member of the Yuanchen team who has refined composition control, grain boundary diffusion and stable batch production — process by process — and stood by the production line day after day.

Selected from 803 projects — a list that carries real weight

This year's "China Good Technology" call received 803 technology projects in total. Following expert review, 108 were selected into the Category A project library, 373 into Category B, and 175 into Category C.

“The "China Good Technology" project solicitation and promotion campaign is organized by the CPPCA in accordance with the Measures for the Administration of the "China Good Technology" Project Solicitation and Promotion Campaign. It is designed to identify technology achievements that are innovative, practical and promising for industrialization, and to help more good technologies move from the laboratory into real-world application. Being included in the Category A public notice list is a dual affirmation of the project's technological level and its industrialization potential.

Why Ce-Fe-B? Putting rare earth resources to smarter use

Rare earth permanent magnets are the "invisible muscle" of modern industry — they are found in new energy equipment, energy-saving motors and consumer electronics alike. Cerium-iron-boron (Ce-Fe-B) magnets take a more economical and lower-carbon path: they make the most of cerium, a light rare earth element abundant in reserves, raise the overall utilization of rare earth resources, and help downstream users bring down the manufacturing cost of permanent magnet materials.

The path has not been an easy one. How to tune the composition, how to engineer grain boundary diffusion, how to keep batch production stable — every step was a hard nut to crack. Drawing on years of focus on the rare earth permanent magnet sector, Yuanchen New Materials worked through them one by one, and has made notable progress in magnetic performance, temperature stability and processing yield, offering downstream customers a more cost-effective new materials solution.

A recognition today, a new starting point tomorrow

The public notice period runs from September 28 to October 9, 2026. The final result is subject to the official announcement of the China Productivity Promotion Center Association.

Standing at this new starting point, Yuanchen New Materials will continue to increase investment in R&D, push the "High-Performance Ce-Fe-B Permanent Magnet" technology into broader industrial application, and keep iterating both processes and products — contributing our share to the high-quality development of the rare earth new materials industry.

Our thanks to every customer and partner for your trust. Good technology deserves to be seen — and we look forward to walking the road ahead together.
