Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) and the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) officially released the national standard GB/T 47896—2026, Measurement Methods for Magnetic Properties at Elevated Temperatures of High-Coercivity Permanent Magnet Materials. This standard will come into effect on February 1, 2027. Ningbo Yuanchen New Materials Co., Ltd., as a drafting unit, participated fully in the formulation of this standard.

Magnetic properties at elevated temperatures serve as key indicators for evaluating the stability and reliability of permanent magnets under extreme operating conditions. The newly released national standard establishes unified specifications for testing procedures, experimental conditions, data processing, and result determination regarding these high-temperature magnetic properties. It fills the gap in standardized testing methodologies within the industry, providing a unified and authoritative technical basis for R&D, quality inspection, and supply-demand acceptance of rare earth permanent magnet products, thereby facilitating the high-quality development of China's permanent magnet sector.
